Here’s an easy way to create a new partition on your disk.
Go to Disk Manager or Type (diskmgmt.msc) in RUN
- Select the Drive that you want to partition (or Divide) and right click.
- A dialog box wills appeared.
- Here I am going to Partition on Drives (E) as Highlighted above.
- Select Shrink Volume. Then wait, It may take a while, Eventually and again another dialog box wills appeared.
- While Shrinking the Drives we have to enter the size in MB
- Here Drive (E) is 265.76 GB Means (265.76X1024 MB) As Highlighted Red Above.
- New Drive,we need 100 GB means, we have to type 102400 MB in "Enter the amount to shrink in MB". As Highlighted Black Above..
- Now Click Shrink option
We can see that the Drive (E) Size was 265.76 GB before. Now we can see the new drive of 100 Gm was created and the Drive (E) became 165.76 GB.
• Now Right Click Newly Created Drive and Select "New Sample Volume".
• Clicks those next until finish option will appear. Finally Click finish option and new drive is created.
